Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android Board Support Package or drivers.
  • Experience with Linux Kernel or Device Driver development.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android Board Support Package.
  • Experience in either kernel development, power management, performance tuning, battery charging, display driver/HAL, audio driver/HAL, or peripheral drivers on Android systems.
  • Experience working with hardware designers and/or reading schematics.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.

We are looking for outstanding engineers to develop the whole software stack for future smarter android devices, ranging from cutting-edge SoC bring-up all the way up to the platform. Looking for System Software or Firmware Engineers to join the growing embedded software team to help architecting, developing, testing and deploying embedded consumer devices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the software stack for embedded devices.
  • Work on SOC to perform low-level system integration and driver development.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the software on embedded devices and improve software quality.
  • Develop validation tools and test cases to verify hardware/software functionality.
  • Optimize the system power and performance.
