Title: Physical Failure Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Identify the cause of failure, testing and diagnosing.

- Hands on work with various tools associated with electrical failure analysis including new instrument installation, method of validations and techniques.

- Work with partners to identify action plans to drive towards conclusions. Analysis and troubleshooting during the process.

- Collaborating with OH&S to implement all necessary safety measures.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of all documented processes and procedures.

Qualification :

- Fundamental knowledge of Computer Architecture, Server architecture at block level, and Hardware/Firmware/OS interactions

- Strong working knowledge of PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) design, fabrication, and validation testing

- Experience using tools such as, ReliaSoft & JMP statistical software packages.

- Strong working knowledge of electronic components/devices and their failure-modes & failure mechanism

- Knowledge of industry standards, IPC, JEDEC, Telcordia, and MIL-STD

- Ability to communicate, collaborate and lead cross-functionally to resolve issues, including with customers.

- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal and computer skills required.

- Self-motivated individual, must be able to work collaboratively in team environment and across internal divisions and industry (OEM, ODM)
