Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

The Sr. Manager of the APAC Intuitive Business School (IBS) is responsible for leading the creation and management of the APAC commercial leadership development strategy for the Intuitive commercial organization. This position is responsible for enhancing the leadership capabilities of our APAC Commercial leaders and building the skills necessary to ensure we have a strong pipeline of leadership talent within the commercial organization. All duties are performed in accordance with Intuitive corporate and departmental practices, policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Align with APAC Commercial Leadership (GMs, Sr. Directors and Managers), Intuitive Talent Development, and key stakeholders to build a strong pipeline of managers and leaders in the commercial organization.
  • Plan, Lead, manage, and execute the APAC Commercial Leadership Development programs, including Management Development, Leadership Development, New Manager Trainings, etc.
  • Consult with business leaders, HR, and US Talent Development to identify leadership capability opportunities and needs; integrate this input into all curriculum development
  • Partner with APAC business leaders and key stakeholders to establish a balanced curriculum of management and leadership competencies
  • Identify and make recommendations for leadership development tools and resources
  • Benchmark leadership development best practices and emerging trends to make recommendations of program design, development tools, and methodologies
  • Incorporate multiple delivery modalities into all program designs, including instructor-led, web-based, virtual classroom, and blended instruction.
  • Strong, effective communication with management and senior leadership
  • Work with Intuitive leadership teams in the development, staffing and delivery of all programs and courses offered
Qualifications

Experience Education and Job Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in Corporate Sales Training, Talent Development and or Leadership/Management development, preferably in a medical device and or high technology environment.
  • Minimum 2 years managing people or equivalent experience; medical device preferred
  • Successful operation and execution across a global and APAC regional cross-cultural, varied market maturity matrix business environment
  • Experience in creating or implementing manager/leader competency models.
  • Demonstrated experience in Management or Leadership Development program design and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing talent systems and initiatives (assessment, selection, development, succession, management) and building organizational & leadership capabilities.
  • Experience effectively coaching and positively influencing multicultural leaders.
