Join us and make a difference.SummaryPosition overview Position National Sales ManagerReport to Business Lead, Innovative Medicines BULocation TaipeiDisease area scope Rheumatology, NeurologyThe position works in full compliance with laws, industry regulations, BMS Policies and Procedures including Business Rules as well as the BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics.Responsibility- Prepare and execute sales plan in line with company’s business target
- Lead and motivate team for result-oriented attitudes through performance management
- Involve in functional skill development of people through necessary training
- Co-ordinate inter-department activities to support BU efforts to maximize results
- Make decision in business operation of BU with focus on profitable sales and competitive activities
- Develop and maintain consistently effective working relationships with customers to support current & future business activities
- Achieves competitively superior growth and market share performance, while balancing sales and expense control targets. Provides a well-thought resources allocation plan and executes according to the plan.
- Builds a high performance team by training and developing high quality people, providing ongoing coaching and counseling, and retaining the best talent through motivation and recognition and making tough decisions on non-performers.
- Keeps the sales team focused on bringing added value services to customers as a source of competitive advantage and a desire to win in the marketplace.
- Analyzes changing customer needs and market trends, understands how they affect the current and future business, and responds proactively to secure long term business performance, presenting the business plan of their territory and the required action plans.
- Ensures that each member of the sales team has an understanding of and operates in strict compliance with BMS Code of Business Conduct.
- Outstanding track record of performance in field sales with consistent success in field sales management over 3 years
- New product launch experience
- Demonstrates ability to select and develop high-potential staff and maps out a clear development plan for each member of the team.
- Demonstrates a well-thought resource planning for the team composition and allocates appropriately.
- Establishes and achieves stretch objectives.
- Demonstrates success in change management and bringing team to overcome challenging situations
- Understanding of local market, customers, and the competition.
- Mastery of selling skills
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Science or Business is preferred
