Overview

• Taiwan is the technology savvy market and our customers love to adopt innovative product such as Display card, mobile payment, InControl and MasterPass..etc
• During the past few years, MasterCard has invested a lot to lead the market on innovative products, as we don’t have Product Sales headcount in Taiwan, the Business Development person needs to take care of all the innovative products that we’d like to roll out in the market to keep our leadership position in the market.
• Assist with the development of a sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development, account management teams, and RHQ Business Development teams to develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities
• Focus on industry vertical, and Non FI ( Telco, Reward Platform, Micro Payment) to understand the payment needs and explore MasterCard business opportunity
• Participate in high-level, interactive conversations with key decision makers and work with Account Managers to identify opportunities to sell emergent payment products such as MasterPass, HCE, inControl, P to P payment…etc to existing customers.
  
  

Role

• Conduct market development activities and drive market preparation activities, translating marketing strategy to sales and account strategies and channel management approaches if appropriate.
• Assist with the creation of training materials and development activities to advance the capability of the downstream marketing team and account teams.
• Liaise with regional and country teams to roll up local sales activities into a global view.

• Through knowledge of card and payments industry, with particular emphasis on industry vertical (Telco, Reward Platform, Micro Payment related background are preferred)
• Through understanding of MC products and solutions and the ability to demonstrate the value proposition to customers
• Strong client management skills and teamwork skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong financial analysis, spreadsheet and modeling skills
• Proactive self starter seeking initiatives to generate new business by enhancing acceptance propositions for the benefit of MasterCard and the potential customer (merchant or industry group)
