Responsibilites
  • Responsible for application risk control assessment, remediation and reporting of CIB local owned applications.
  • Responsible for technology project planning, management and implementation of CIB local owned projects
  • Work with ISM Information Security Manager to ensure proper control and management of local applications/tools
  • Work with CIB Technology groups and Global Technology Infrastructure GTI groups to deliver projects / tasks on-time, on-budget and with high quality
  • Provide application production support and liaise with regional teams, vendors and exchanges for application service delivery
  • Support CIB Tech regional teams in regional/global projects rollout to Taiwan
  • Support local regulatory system setup and other regulatory requirements from CIB Tech perspective
  • Support various location specific resiliency, audit and compliance activities from local CIB Tech perspective
  • Keep strong partnership with business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirements and proper prioritization
  • Keep strong linkage with regional / global teams to leverage common solutions, processes, functions and resources
  • Build knowledge base and documentations for Taiwan CIB Tech
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years IT experience, preferably within Banking services sector
  • Solid experience on Linux platform and Web application
  • Familiar with application risk assessment & control, change management and incident management
  • Proven record of ownership and accountability with successful project delivery, preferably around application system setup, implementation, enhancement and migration
  • Experience in managing vendor and supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate across cultures and at multiple organization levels
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills with high and fast learning capability
  • Critical thinking and good problem solving skills
  • Structured approach to decision making based on rationale analysis
  • Good team player and collaboration
  • Passionate and positive attitude
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, both verbal and written, as this role requires interaction with Taiwan local counterparts
