We’re looking for an (associate) Vice President, Head of Global Business for a leading electronics group company. The ideal candidate must have the proven track records of developing new business and growing sales in the electronics OEM/ODM business. Overseas working experience (in the United States) is highly desired.Responsibilities
  • In charge of the company’s Global Business (excluding Mainland China). Develop global business strategies and plannings and closely monitor the resources allocation, sales/business forecasting, ROI, budget optimization, etc.
  • Identify and develop OEM/ODM business opportunities for the company (excluding Mainland China); look for new demands or opportunities of next-generation products and services in the (related) fields of ICT – Information Communications Technology and/or IoT – Internet of Things.
  • Create and implement winning business development strategies that align with the company’s goals of growth and technical/operational resources.
  • Create and implement plans that successfully maintain key performance indicators related to business objectives, profitability, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction to increase retention and referrals to drive repeat sales.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business needs and objectives.
Requirements
  • 15~25 years of combined working experience in Sales, Business Development, or General Management. Currently or previously holding a senior position as Head of Sales/Business Development or Head of Business Unit/Line of Business.
  • Desired client experiences: global leading consumer electronics brands (such as Apple, Microsoft, SONY, Samsung, Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc.) and/or regional conglomerates (such as Havells, Blue star, Bajaj in India).
  • Proven track records of successfully developing a new business from scratch and leading a strong sales/BD team that exceeds the sales targets.
  • Strong industry working knowledge in OEM/ODM business, such as business culture, technology trends, value chain, and key players.
  • A team player who can thrive in helping corporate and client succeed. Able to work in a fast- paced and dynamic working environment.
  • Ability to conduct frequent business travels around the world (50%+).
  • Native/Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English.
