- 3 years of experience in people management.
- Experience in program management with full product life cycle software testing in consumer hardware, mobile devices, or other smart devices, embedded or Android system software.
- Experience driving cross-product areas/sites/teams programs.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and drive initiatives to develop detailed solutions through leadership, effective communication, and a data-driven approach.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Pixel Software Testing Technical Program Manager, you will lead ambiguous cross-functional and organizational challenges and multiple programs reaching beyond Android, Pixel software, hardware, and operations teams to ensure the quality of Pixel software releases and products launches, work closely with Quality Management Center (QMC) testing teams in Taiwan/US sites for different product portfolio like smart phone and other consumer electronics.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
- Program manage full product life cycle testing for Pixel phone software.
- Collaborate across various disciplines (e.g., Engineer, Carrier Technical Account Manager, Quality Assurance, fellow Technical Program Managers etc.) to drive testing programs. Provide test strategy, plan, signal, summary, and control of test activities, including automation and manual testing. Identify and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of testing.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and leadership through exemplary communication skills and in a timely manner.
- Work with QMC and other Pixel teams to oversee testing of new features on overall Pixel Software. Define and drive test case enhancement and streamline the process to scale the test, standardization, quality, and its effectiveness.
- Exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects, and products attainable within a given timeline.
