Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in a purpose programming language (e.g., C/C++, Java, or Python).
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

• Experience in Android application and framework development.
• Experienced in Android accessibility framework development.

In this role, you’ll help lead a team to build user-facing products that provide the best user experience on Pixel phones. You will work with a team of Product Managers and User Experience Designers to define, ideate, prototype, develop, test, and iterate the software products, while ensuring software quality through software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android Accessibility software for Pixel phones or Android platform.
• Be responsible for setting the technical direction as well as planning deliverables and milestones.
• Make direct technical contributions as well as provide guidance to team members.
• Work with teams across the organization to remove blockers, identify opportunities, and interact with leads and stakeholders.
• Lead projects on the Software team and collaborate with Product Managers and User Experience teams.
