Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Coordinate OQA daily operation including emergency quality event, job change, working flow design change with engineering and other appropriate as relate to implementation with OQA operations.
  • Handle non-conformity case from Melting & Finishing or other plants and CAR system for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the production process and analyze problems and concerns and implement or recommend corrective actions as required.
  • Co- work with WWPE/Tech. new product and new equipment qualification.
  • Coordinate Quality related projects as assigned in support of improvement.
  • Analyze Finishing process capability & tank performance & customer’s new requirement for long term continuous improvement project of quality architecture optimization.
  • Support to join EEP case study with Tech.
  • Lead a-DMAIC Projects.
