Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Work with account team to handle customer quality issue
  • Coordinate customer related internal and external corrective action and product quality improvement
  • Supporting Melting/Finishing QA for quality improvement
  • Supporting WW/Div for quality improvement project
  • Handle customer RMA and CAR process
  • Co-work Japan/China RQA AQA group to off-load product quality improvement
  • Business trip needed for customer issue handling
  • On-hold/Restricted lots consumption
  • Support on internal/external Quality audit
  • Customer QI issues follow up tracking and migration
Projects Involved With
  • Co-work with customers and/or related departments for quality improvement project
  • Engineering change which impact product quality related to customer verification and feedback
  • Process Excellence/6-Sigma program
  • Finish good Off-load product
  • Co-work with WWPE for customer JE project
  • Support on new product development project
