Optical Engineer (Fixed Term Contract)

工作内容

• Contribute to the development of new products and technologies, bring innovation and new ideas;
• Evaluate new technologies, concepts, systems or components based on performance, user experience, risk, cost, reliability and manufacturability;
• Specify, design, qualify and implement optical solutions from concept to manufacturing for Logitech products meeting cost, schedule and user experience;
• Conduct engineering methodologies during development, ex, tolerance analysis, design reviews, FMEA and 8D;
• Develop tools and setups to simulate, measure and analyze optical systems;
• Perform measurements & qualification;
• Collaborate with multi-competence engineering teams in a multi-site environment.
• Collaborate with factories to ensure smooth and efficient mass production

• Master degree or equivalent in optoelectronic engineering, optical engineering or physics;
• At least 2 years development experience in consumer electronics industry;
• Experience in non-sequential optical simulation (ex.Tracepro);
• Experience in optical design and color engineering;
• Experience in Python programming;
• Well understanding of physics;
• Experience working in team, different functions and cultures;
• Fluency in English (written/spoken);
• Autonomous, reliable, team oriented;
• Creative, self-learning and fast learning;
• Good communication and personal organization skills (ex. self-motivation and time management);
• Availability to travel;

• Experience in sequential optical simulation (ex. Zemax);
