HCL Technologies (Taiwan) Ltd. is subsidiary of HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL Technologies: IT Services, Digital Solutions, Technology Consulting) providing Services towards HW product engineering, prototype builds, Design and Manufacturing, Software Engineering validation activities, and Taiwan development center facility and Lab management services.

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation, and evaluation for Laptop/Notebook product.

Onsite Compal Linkou Office

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities

• Laptop/Notebook design, and with thinner laptop design is a plus
• 3D/2D drawing check and review.
• Working on GD&T system and tolerance analysis
• Co-work with vendor/Engineer for Cpk data collection and analysis
• Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements.
• Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
• Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
• Writing technical documentation for machine operators.
• Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.
• Collaborating with vendor and other engineers in our team.

Requirements:

• Min. BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field. MS Preferred.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity. (with Laptop/Notebook design experience, or thinner laptop design is a plus)
• Knowledge for Aluminum CNC / Stamping design or related manufacture process
• ProE Creo 7.0 skill for 3D/2D drawing check and review.
• Experience on Cpk data collection & analysis
• Familiar with GD&T system is a must
• Familiar with GOM software is a plus
• Familiar with tolerance analysis is a plus
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required with foreigner
