In This Role, You Will Focus On The Following

MaxLinear is seeking a Marketing Manager for Greater China working on Power Management or Interface Products.

• Collaborate with sales and product line marketing to maximize the market share of our existing products and to gain a keen understanding of future needs of strategic customers and/or applications
• Work with local sales and channel partners to drive opportunity funnel targets to ensure long term revenue growth targets are achieved
• Partner with product line marketing to create new product definitions and roadmaps that will give us an edge over the competition
• Work with Applications Engineering and Marcom to generate the tools and documentation needed to maximize the value and impact of our leading-edge products
• Help train local sales team on products to help execute product line strategies in the region
• Drive efforts for design wins and forecast revenue associated
• Train sales, develop tools for the direct sales team and channel partners
• Create close relationships with key decision makers at current and future strategic customers
• Maximize new product potential by developing, implementing, and managing plans for product launches including documentation, sales collateral, presentations, and positioning
• Research and analyze regional market opportunities, trends, and competitive pressures to develop appropriate product management strategies
• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts for financial and supply management
• Regular travel for customer meetings
• Demonstrated knowledge of Power or Interface products
• Experience with OEMs / ODMs and service providers
• Experience driving channel partners with product
• Ability to analyze regional markets by products
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Strong leadership, organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in Desktops, Industrial PCs, Notebooks, and Servers
• BS + 8 years of experience or MS + 7 years of experience
