Overview

As HR Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a customer-centric administration service to both internal and external parties. This role is involved in all stages of the employee life cycle, with responsibility for preparing documents, maintaining employee records, and ensuring that employees and managers receive adequate support in line with organizational policies, procedures and legal requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Your main tasks will be:

HR administration and payroll:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Taiwan
  • Calculating vocation days/ sick leave / salaries
  • Manage on/off boarding process and administration of all employee lifecycle records
  • Responsible for employment contracts, contract renewals, visa application and renewal process, as well as relocation arrangements.

Recruitment administration:

  • Advertising roles internally and externally using LinkedIn, 104 and iCana’s website
  • Following up on the open positions with the recruitment agencies
  • Updating our internal systems with the new candidates’ applications
  • Scheduling the interviews and following up on the assessment of the candidates
  • Helping the HR Manager with the preparation of the offer and contract

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration
  • English and Chinese fluent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in payroll management and administration
  • Relevant work or internship experience in a start-up environment will be favorably considered.
  • Ability to handle sensitive personal data professionally.
  • Able to manage a variety of tasks with good time management skills and be able to plan accordingly within the short-term and work to deadlines including payroll.
  • A team player who is keen to support organizational objectives, whilst possessing the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of their own workloads and outputs.
