Reports to: Manager, ERP Applications
Job Summary
The Human Resources (HR)/Payroll Application Support Analyst will have a strong understanding of enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll (PR) and related ERP business processes, data, and software applications. This role will work closely with IT, HR, and Finance teams to support payroll and payroll related business processes and system functions.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources (HR)/Payroll Application Support Analyst will have the following responsibilities and duties:
- Responsible for ensuring data integrity and confidentiality within HCM/PR applications and integrations
- Day-to-day support of payroll related business processes, applications, and integrations
- Troubleshoot, research, resolve, document issues; coordinate with IT, HRIS, and vendor resources to identify root cause and implement the right solution
- Key participant in HR/Payroll/ERP system upgrades, patch testing, issue resolution, and documentation
- Understand HR/PR data and data structures; assist with reporting and data analytics
- Serve as a project team member when implementing new applications, functional enhancements, or new technology: assist with translating business requirements to system functions, system configuration, data conversion and alignment, testing, documentation, training materials
- Lead/assist with development/specifications, testing, documentation of integrations between internal and/or external systems
- Recommend opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and automation; assist/lead in deploying solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field
- 5+ year’s experience supporting ERP/Payroll applications, HR/Payroll business experience, and/or payroll processing experience
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data
- Knowledge of data privacy issues, laws, and regulations
- Experience working with databases and database reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to express ideas and share knowledge with technical and non-technical teams
