Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in embedded/consumer system design, hardware architecture, board design, board bring-up, mechanical engineering, product design, New Product Introduction (NPI), or product shipment.
• Experience with hardware product development process, from concept to manufacturing at CMs/ODMs.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in hardware development, hardware bring-up and high volume manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical architecture, mobile SoCs, FPGA, PCB development, digital interfaces, analog, or power.
• Experience with hardware modules cameras, displays, and audio systems.
• Ability to influence decision makers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team that develops and manages hardware lifecycle.
• Work with the hardware lead, Product Development lead, Electrical Engineering lead, and overall Engineering team to ensure successful development of electrical and mechanical architecture.
• Work with manufacturing partners to ensure Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) model alignment and timely decision-making to keep the program on track.
• Manage technology and supply chain risks, and provide technical oversight.
• Collaborate with functional partners including, Design, Product, Program Management, Software teams, and executive leadership.
