Data Center Engineer

We are looking for two Data Center Engineer (Rack/Server/Bench Operation) maintain lab hardware include racks, network equipment, power distribution units in client’s next generation of Server Lab.

Responsibilities

• End to end physical implementation of various hardware including racks, network equipment, racking system, power distribution units, floor load management.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and management of server racks, SKUs, network, infrastructure and customized testing environments.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience in building physical and virtual systems using standard build processes.
• Assisting in requirements gathering, development, and testing of new systems or system upgrades.
• Configuring systems to adhere to enterprise, departmental, and team standards.
• Ensure high availability of systems by developing and using tools to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Keep systems up to date with appropriate patches, firmware, and other fixes.
• Schedule necessary maintenance for systems, plan for downtime, and notify affected users if applicable.
• Maintain appropriate security access and protection, in compliance with existing security policies and best practices.
• Schedule and plan system upgrades as needed. Communicate outages to affected users as required.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Implement and manage automated client operating system deployments.
• Hands on experience of Linux for server operation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, such as configuring and deploying VMs into Virtual Networks.
• Ability to be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Work experience with CHT, FET, Google Datacenter is a plus
• 1-3 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Knowledge of PowerShell, scripting
• Interest and aptitude in Information Technology.

Nice To Have:

• Other CompTIA Certifications: IT Fundamentals, Network+, Server+, Cloud+, or Security+
• Demonstrated track record of innovative solutions deploying and supporting IT initiatives.
• Experience in security system design and engineering.
