Role Overview:

The Country Manager for Taiwan will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all aspects of our operations in the country. This includes full P&L responsibility, team management, and strategic leadership. This leader will be driving results through a team of thirty to forty individuals; ensuring successful operations and growth of Peak Energy in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large teams, driving results, and championing a high performing enthusiastic workplace. Expertise in the renewable energy sector is mandatory with experience in solar being a definitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L Responsibility:
• Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Taiwan operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to ensure continuous growth in profitability.
• Implement lean management practices to optimize operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of approximately a three dozen professionals in sales, finance, and technical roles.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development.
• Market Expansion and Business Development:
• Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the local market.
• Utilize expertise in the renewable solar space to drive growth and market penetration.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in leading high performing company’s with a focus on renewable energy.
• Demonstrated success in full P&L responsibility and lean management practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading teams of diverse professionals.
• Excellent understanding of the renewable energy landscape in Taiwan.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving continuous growth in profitability.
