JOB SUMMARY (Main Responsibilities)

Jabil Server& Embedded product Firmware function validation and test case creation. Test targets include Rack/Tower Server, Storage Server, Networking Server BIOS& BMC FW Platform integration and function test.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Executive the BIOS& BMC FW release test.
• New test case creation and maintain.
• Familiar with server architecture, able to setup the server test environment.
• Report defect via Bug tracking systems (Jira or Bugzilla)
• Able to create test scripts, optimize the test cases.
• Create SOP or documentation.
• Plan the test execution cycle based on FW release schedule.
• Support Engineering team to narrow down the test failed step, reproduce the issue or create the unit test cases.
  
  

Required Job Competencies:

Technical Knowledge& Skills

• Arrange and manage test planning cycle, control the test Leadtime
• Basic technical background to recognize, assess and communicate cross-functional issues and risks.
• Good understanding of product development and manufacturing processes including test validation.
• Experience in Python
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub is a plus

有使用Python的經驗為佳

熟悉Linux操作，能夠進行基於Linux的測試案例

有GitLab/GitHub的使用經驗為佳

具備Jenkins、GitLab CI或其他DevOps工具的經驗為佳

Ability to use English to descript / report the test failed symptoms and procedure. Able to join the meeting for the defect discussion in English.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience (BS degree in Computer Science, Compute Engineering or similar)
• Able to write the Python script preferred.
