JobMission

Assisting senior media manager in providing best media solutions that serve brand and business purposes through strategic media planning as well as keen market and audience understanding. Bring forward thinking and ahead of market approach to the team to achieve “Only Chanel Can Do” vision.
  • Media Trend and Insight
    • Keen observation and knowledge of upfront and emerging media trend
    • Understanding of luxury market and audience insights for each business division
    • Review competitive activation and insights

  • Strategic Media planning and Execution
    • Develop media strategy that serves total brand communications purpose
    • Develop media strategy that supports business divisions objectives and priorities
    • Work closely with PR and Event team to build communication orchestration and manage one house priorities and calendar
    • Work within communication team and with media agency for the development of clear measurement matrix
    • Elevate role of media and take opportunities to pilot new media initiatives
    • Be familiar with internal and agency tools which facilitate process efficiency (e.g. Omni Studio / ADOP…etc

  • Vendor Management
    • Give clear brief to media agency including market context, client composition, business objective and direction of role of media.
    • Work with media agency on media plan development to ensure media strategy is in line with brand and business objective
    • Inspire and encourage media agency to take extra steps and drive for break-through innovation
    • Manage day to day relationship and operation with media agency and deliver best practice management incl. workflow, relationships management and agency evaluation
    • Keep track of digital campaign performance and make constant adjustment whenever needed
    • Support research initiatives and work with social listening agency for regular report delivery and case studies

  • Stakeholders Management/Cross Department Partnership
    • Build collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders (marketing, omni-channel, CRM, TDS, finance…etc)
    • Work closely with marketing and omni-channel team to drive for best practice and investment efficiency
    • Constant communication with regional and global media counterparts to ensure strategy alignment and seek best practice learning from other countries.

Person Specifications

  • University graduate or above
  • Min. 5 years of working experiences in corporate media/digital and media agency in retail industry
  • Min. 2 years of Project Management
  • Good at problem solving, project management, communication, interpersonal and data analytics skills. Innovative, resourceful, result-oriented, self-motivated, agile, organized and pay attention on details
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
