The AppBlocks Team at Tibbo Technology, Inc. is looking for a Web Developer.

Why AppBlocks

We aim to disrupt the industrial automation and control space with a platform that makes developing industrial automation solutions a breeze.

The AppBlocks no-code, flowchart-based, in-browser application development platform is the easiest way to develop typical automation applications. By focusing on a narrow but well-funded automation segment, we are able to fine-tune our system’s features and building blocks to the specific needs of a particular industry, thus achieving a far better fit compared to generic no-code platforms such as Node-RED.

Must-Haves

We are looking for a designer who shares our enthusiasm for intuitive, no-code development systems. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to work with little supervision, grasp the big picture, set goals and priorities, and progress toward achieving broad objectives while never neglecting small details
• Experience in designing production systems with Node.js or Python
• Experience with data processing (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Familiarity with container technologies, such as Docker
• Reasonable communication and English skills

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with REST API design and Open API
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines is a plus
• Familiarity with MQTT

What You Will Be Working On

You will work on designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining a new cloud IoT device management platform. The design goals are stability, ease of use, and scalability. We work closely with our customers and iterate on the product based on their feedback. The work is creative, very practical, detail-oriented, and low in bureaucratic overhead.
