About This Team

We bring technology and functionality to life by developing fabrics, trim, colors and prints for lululemon premium performance product. Our partnership with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality ensures we create product that performs for the intended use and meets testing standards, which provides a desirable experience for our guest.

A Day In The Life

• Work closely with SSC Design & QD team to deliver trims that fulfill aesthetic and function needs while maintaining lululemon quality expectation and cost
• Be in flow with the Trim Development Working Calendar to ensure all developments are on schedule and approved on time
• Educate cross-functional partners on technical requirements needed for trim developments
• Facilitates in the communication with vendor and SSC cross-functional teams on development status
• Clarify and bring solutions to technical limitations with the suppliers in the area of development and production
• Keep systems updated and current with the most accurate information about all trim items developed
• Monitor seasonal Buy deliveries as well as work with Quality team on issue resolution
• Proactively work with X-functional partners in resolving delivery issues without compromising quality so that trims can be delivered on-time
• Build strong relationships with our trims suppliers by bringing clarity to the suppliers on any of LLL needs
• Drive and lead projects that support lululemon business initiatives
• Supports the Trims Merchandising team in the day to day activities
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Textile Sciences and/or Fashion Design. We will consider the candidates without a degree if the industry experience demonstrates a strong technical background in trim
• 3 years total of trim experience
• Must speak and write English
