Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in professional development.
  • Experience shipping products in a lead or principal technical program manager role.
  • Experience with hardware design and full product cycle development or launches (e.g., in Consumer/Enterprise Electronic Industry).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with manufacturing process(es): Plastic Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, Extrusion and Die Casting.
  • Experience communicating project status to internal stakeholders, scoping and maintaining credible and data-driven schedules and milestones.
  • Experience working closely with partners on product development schedules, dependencies, and budgets and identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work jointly with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and manage hardware projects.
  • Ability to interface between partners, applications and product engineering teams, to manage schedules and milestones.
  • Travel up to 20% and GVCs to coordinate with teams globally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform both Electrical Mechanical program management and technical program management duties.
  • Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with engineers and technical staff to develop and track workstreams and goal dates for the many moving parts that need to come together.
  • Develop and drive hardware schedules with well-defined milestones and Provide clear communication across functional teams to drive transparency and end-to-end coordination of deliverables.
  • Assess build(s) qualitatively through monitoring of issues, bugs by managing validations/test results and trends quantitatively.
  • Develop playbooks, tools, and processes to collaborate engineering productivity and own technical relationships with cross-functional, vendors, and partners.
