Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communications, Electric Engineering, Statistics, technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in building and launching software or Internet systems
  • Experience in one or more of the following: System Design, Data Structure, Algorithms, Statistical Modeling
  • Experience in one or more of the following: C++, Python, Java, Go

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Wireless Communications, especially in Modem Hardware/Software, Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), or Carrier Certification
  • Experience developing tools for professional users
  • Experience in system Software Development on Embedded Systems
  • Experience with business process improvement and automation
  • Experience in front-end technologies (e.g., Angular)

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Build a holistic data foundation that organizes heterogeneous data from different phases of the life cycle of modem software.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify tooling needs and automation opportunities and translate them into project proposals.
  • Scope, plan, and oversee the execution of engineering projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
