- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of engineering program management, team lead and/or product design engineering experience.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
- Consumer Electronics experience in NPI product development, phase gate approach, and shipping high volume/high quality product.
- Excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes, and operations planning.
- Strong team player and creative thinker with the ability to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans.
- Strong ability to capture the big picture quickly and focus on key points.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for improving processes and plans.

Responsibilities
- Manage development Nest hardware products and drive the overall tactical execution and strategy of the team.
- Drive product development processes and phase gate reviews with the cross-functional teams.
- Develop and manage program schedules and resource needs with engineering and operations teams.
- Interface between contract manufacturers and cross-functional engineering and operations teams driving builds and managing build schedules, budgets, and performance. Influence and drive strategic contract manufacturer (CM) development efforts and establish long term partnerships.
- Travel internationally to lead development builds at CMs.
