• 3 years of experience in supply chain program management and consumer product development

• 3 years of experience in a supply chain-related role.
• Experience operating software applications (e.g., enterprise resource planning (ERP) and/or Oracle 11i).
• Ability to be detail-oriented, proactive, problem-solve, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Google’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.

The Google Nest team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from Nest thermostats to Nest smart displays. The Nest team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Responsibilities

• Drive material and supply chain readiness for all New Product Introduction (NPI) builds from concept phase to production, partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds and supply continuity into production.
• Be the primary point of contact to manage spend against project budgets and manage large production risk buys and strategic buffers.
• Develop and document global supply chain map for each product, including suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies.
• Update project schedules and status, and represent the NPI Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives to help the team grow in scalability. Drive process improvement for cross-functional team alignment and influence.
