The Assistant Manager, Embedded Systemwill be based in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. The Assistant Manager, Embedded System performs the responsibility for system design in Power Supply Unit/Power Solution Projects request.

Here Is a Glimpse Of What You’ll Do

• Designing the embedded system, be the architect for the system
• Support RFI, RFQ and Technical Presentations activities
• Candidate will require to conceptual the solution to making part selection to driving a validation test plan to supporting mass production
• Review/design high speed digital circuits be able to design-in customer specified components or make alternative suggestions that would convince the customer alternative is a better design suggestion
• Analyze and tailor solutions to meet target system
• Define rigor requirements on both hardware, software, and testing levels to meet customer requests
• Be technical up to date with latest SOC/processors as well as peripheral parts such as RAM, FLASH, WIFI, BT, USB, RFIS, Display and their interfaces
• Be able to communicate to the overall team and bridge hardware and software/firmware issues
• Must be able to design hardware to meet customer firmware/software/security needs
• Design review with team on both hardware level as well as software level that encompasses embedded code, driver level and even OS (Linux) level
• Experience in leading a R&D team is preferred
• Overall project responsibility in all aspects on design related- from project kick off to end of MP
  
  

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• Bachelor or above degree in electronics or electrical
• 8+ years’ experience in embedded system design
• Be highly passionate and interested in embedded development and capability of teamwork in a multi-task environment
• Solid understanding of embedded hardware design
• Needs to be able to define the software that will complete the hardware into a usable design, this requires defining any firmware and OS (Linux) drivers to be written
• Implementation/design experience is required
• Capability of independent research and working with new technologies is must
• Be able to drive diverse team: from layout, testing, firmware to production team
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills (in Mandarin and English) is required
• Can work beyond normal working hours as customer meetings will be in different time zones
• Strong sense of responsibility and be able to travel on business trips
