[Key Responsibilities]

• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets existing and future requirements and completes the company’s information service mission and goal.

• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.

• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.

• Manages all system back-up and restore.

• Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure the long-term efficiency of a network.

• Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs.

[Qualifications]

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• At least 6 years or above experience in a network administrator role.

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience with networking, routing, and switching.

• Microsoft O365 skills and experience (e.g. O365 admin, Exchange on-line, SharePoint).

• Microsoft Power Platform skills and experience are a plus.

• Cloud Solution (e.g. AWS and Azure are a plus).

• Excellent knowledge of best practices around managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure.

• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution (e.g. Cisco Meraki and HPE are preferred).

• Ability to set up and configure server hardware (e.g. VMware ESXi and vSphere are preferred).

• Familiarity with backup and recovery software (e.g. Veeam is preferred).

• Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.

• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.

• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.

• Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation.

• Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.

• Professional certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are preferred.
