The Role

You will support engineering activities to implement engineering solutions for continuous improvement on Lab equipment, to achieve quality and cycle time to meeting engineering qualification activities schedules.

The Person

You are team-oriented, possess strong communication skills and are methodical in approach. You possess a strong attention to detail and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with global AMD teams and the Suppliers to:

• Manage process for identifying the location and returning of wafer carcass acquisition for Physical Failure Analysis (PFA)
• Initiate special engineering requests, track & report test results of critical engineering lots
• Assist in managing documentation supporting the Internal Change Review Board
• Support routine updating & publication of key product metrics
  

Preferred Experience

• Basic knowledge on Electronics and Semiconductors
• Understanding of semiconductor testing
• General understanding of manufacturing/operations
• Computer knowledge (Proficiency in Microsoft Office) and skills in report generation
• Flexible to work in staggered or night shifts as required by business needs
  

Academic Credentials

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
