Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading a team and providing technical leadership.
• Experience managing Software QA processes and methodologies.
• Experience developing automated tests using object oriented scripting languages (Python, Java, etc).
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with embedded consumer electronic devices.
• Experience building automation stations for testing Embedded devices with iOS and Android.
• Experience with hardware communication interfaces such as USB, UART, I2C or SPI.
• Experience working with robots to aid in test automation.

As a Software Test Engineering Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and work on cutting edge technologies and creating a meaningful impact. This role provides exposure in the consumer products space and provides a larger scope to work across organizations and multiple teams. You’ll operate with autonomy, letting you take initiative, implement new ideas, and work towards the betterment of the product.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Test Engineers and Software Engineers, coaching and mentoring the team members and work towards their career development.
• Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing embedded hardware devices.
• Design, create, modify and execute test plans and tests for hardware and software validation at both system and user level and drive to improve software QA processes and methodologies.
• Drive to improve software QA processes and methodologies.
• Own a technical area and deliver polished automation solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams and strive to come up with optimal and creative solutions.
