The mission of the Pixel MAKE (Make Android and Key Experiences) team is to build high-quality, innovative, relevant, and differentiating Applications, Experiences, and Solutions for Android and Pixel. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in many critical components of Pixel software development for a delightful user experience. We work closely with teams across multiple regions on software development, feature tuning, infra/tooling, product integration, and more.

Making the world’s information universally accessible and useful doesn’t stop at the desktop. The Mobile team builds tools to get you the information you need no matter where you are. Android has become the world’s most popular mobile ecosystem, powering billions of devices, from smartphones to tablets, watches to TVs and everything in between. Whether adding to the core Android experience, forging new markets for digital content, creating immersive and portable versions of our products or managing relationships with a global community of developers, the Mobile team is giving you Google on the go.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative Software Engineering efforts, and drive the design and development that solve or strategically address business objectives.
• Ensure product excellence, technical excellence, and performance.
• Uphold engineering best practices (e.g., functional testing, performance testing, instrumentation, experiments, etc.).
• Communicate and effectively collaborate with partner teams across Google.
• Help the team push toward our strategic goals.
