Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience coding with a general purpose programming language (e.g. C/C++).
• 5 years of experience managing technical projects and developing software.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing android tests and applications.
• Experience bringing new ideas to solve/improve given problems.
• Experience building embedded system software stack.
• Understanding of android software and hardware architectures.
• Understanding of SoC Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype/production software across the android stack including kernel, BSP, framework, and application to prove the feasibility of designs.
• Build prototype/production software for embedded software stacks running inside Google’s SoCs.
• Contribute to the software and hardware architecture designs for Google’s future SoCs and software features.
• Collaborate across organizations and teams to move the architecture design into production.
