This person will be responsible for bringing new products from prototype to full production status and improving and maintaining yield and quality of shipping products. This supplier facing role is critical to the success of the product launches and ensuring success in the market. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to develop strategic relationships with suppliers.What You Will DoResponsibilities include;
  • Interfaces with Design, work with Applications and Systems Engineering to understand product function and characteristics and ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Defines production and characterization testing.
  • Establishes correlation between bench and ATE.
  • Collects electrical and physical data and performs data analysis to monitor and improve yields
  • Sets appropriate test limits and solve quality or yield issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis of any product yield/quality issue at foundry, assembly, test, module test and system level testing (ODM/OEM).
Who You AreBasic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:
  • MS in EE or equivalent preferred. BSEE is acceptable
  • 5+ years’ experience in wireless CMOS RF or EHF 60GHz (like 802.11ad, WiGig) and digital logic, mixed signal product engineering
  • Experience with ATE test is desirable.
  • Knowledge in antenna, Electromagnetic EHF physics and theory.
  • Detailed knowledge of connectivity standards like USB, PCIe, Display-Port, Aux, I2C, I2S, SATA/SAS, interoperability, and Wireless RF testing (Output Power, Input Sensitivity, SNR, Eye diagram, Jitter, Spread Spectrum, etc) of these standards.
  • Familiar with transceiver communications channel theory and building blocks (PA, LNA, mixer).
  • Excellent SW/HW and troubleshooting, debugging and critical thinking skills
  • Firsthand experiences with RF test equipment, signal generators and analyzers, oscilloscope, etc
  • Familiar with innovative CMOS RF/wireless products.
  • Prior experience with scripts in C/C++, LabView, Matlab, and Python are desirable.
