Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior or Principal Business Intelligence Engineer who can turn raw data into valuable insights for the business.

In this role, you will help defining our long-term business intelligence strategy and design state of the art business intelligence architectures. You shall proactively develop the company’s business intelligence solutions for better performance and standardization.

You shall analyse and articulate business needs (IT’s internal customers) and architect / implement products in accordance with the requests and analysis of the source systems. You shall define the change requests, analyse the source system, develop ETL processes, data models, and build queries and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Finally, you shall provide trainings and second level support to the key users.

Responsibilities

1.Architect, design, and implement the solution for future global enterprise business intelligence strategy and architecture

2.Support the Business Process and Solution Architecture design sessions

3.Partner with business owners and be the key member to establish and maintain business reporting requirements

4.Work with IT core team for reporting implementations and routine maintenance

5.Analyze the existing BI Reports on all legacy systems and databases and define future fulfilment of BI needs in line with the target strategy

6.Key user training and support, along with user authentication management

7.Lead and support future business intelligence team

Qualifications:

1.BS or MS degree in computer science, management information system, statistics, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

2.Experience in SAP Analytics / Business Intelligence / Business Warehouse (BI/BW) for S4/HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and good working knowledge on other reporting and data analytics.

3.5+ years of hands-on experience in BI development. Strong knowledge in ETL and data modeling.

4.5+ years of experiences with Microsoft SQL. DBA experience is a plus.

5.Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse professionals from multiple disciplines across all levels of seniority.

6.Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.

7.Experience working in multi-cultural team.

8.Fluent in both mandarin Chinese and English. Sound communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake.

2.Experience with large data sets, dimensional modeling.

3.Experience in SQL SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Report, or Java.

4.Experience in SAP Fiori and/or understanding of different processes in SAP S4/HANA (e.g. FICO, Planning, PS, MM, QM, SD, etc.) is an advantage.

5.Predictive Analysis / Machine Learning understanding is an advantage.
