The Role

Working as a Senior Operations Analyst based in Zhubei/Taipei, you will:

Planning parameters maintenance:

• Aligning Foundry & backend resource capacities with Actuals on periodic basis
• Making sure Foundry & backend supplier’s confirmations are accurately updated in ERP system
• Making sure all planning parameters are accurately updated & maintained

Capacity Planning/ Utilization review with various planning run flavors:

• Short/ Mid Term Capacity Planning – Next 18 Months
• Strategic planning to look 4-6 months ahead and proactively address resource constraints and provide recommendations for capacity addition & also to AOP planning
• Surge Capacity based on Demand variation and maintaining Surge capacity for critical platforms.
• Exploring options to resolve constraints and recommending actions to Management

Lead Frame Planning:

• Monitor Lead frame availability to avoid potential shortages for Assembly

Consolidated Supplier Forecast

• Making sure supplier forecast sent with standardized format and right frequency
• Tactical follow ups with Suppliers to receive Acknowledgement and work on gaps to forecast
• Monitor Actual vs Forecast (Alerts)
• Making sure Min. loading agreements are met. Metrics are established for monitoring

Inventory Analysis, Forecasting & Monitoring

Consolidated Inventory Reconciliation for all suppliers

What We Are Looking For?

• 5-8 years of experience with technical and commercial responsibility, preferable in the semiconductor related industry
• Industrial Engineer, Technician or specialist with related commercial and technical education
• Good user knowledge of SAP/Other ERP Production Planning/ Supply chain Planning module & Master Data
• Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor- or related electronics industry
• Understanding of capacity constraints, inventory levels and supplier forecasting
• Solid experience in Project Management, working in project environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Takes initiative in processes and tools improvements like automation of reports
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent Business English, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Sets and demonstrates good examples and acts as a role model for honest communication, respectful cooperation, helping each other, feedback, teaching, coaching
• Works within a team and with other departments on daily tasks and improvements
