JR44101 Security Coordinator

In this role, you are the SME (Subject Matter Expert) supporting a remote site, AATT (Advances Assembly & Test Taiwan) in Taichung, overseeing overall security operation, and responsible for direct supervision of security personnel of contracted security staffs. The role leads and monitors the performance of the security officers, prioritizes tasks, manages project progress on schedule with quality output, activates additional resource support under changing operational conditions. You will be coordinating and working with stakeholders across functions and performing excellent analytic skills and the ability to minimize risk to protect the integrity of personnel and company assets.

Duties

The Security Coordinator directly reports to MMT/Fab 16 Security Supervisor, you will administer physical security operations for the sites. Duties also include:

  • Ensures the implementation of Micron Security Standards & Guidelines and the compliance with local regulations
  • Administers badge access against unauthorized intrusion to Micron premises
  • Conducts monitoring through the use of installed surveillance and access control systems
  • Maintains security systems and equipment to ensure effective operational resilience in the protection of Micron assets and ensure proper reporting of malfunction for prompt repair/replacement
  • Ensures officers adhere to duty post and relief schedules
  • Monitors conformance of guards to security post orders through the use of (KPI) key performance indicators
  • Responsible for training documentation/modules and updating any training database as needed to ensure personnel (in-house/contracted) proficiency.
  • Participates in the preparation and administration of the assigned program budget; submits budget recommendations; monitors expenditures, reports irregularities.
  • Performs special assignments, tasks and projects as assigned; prepares and presents reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.
  • Responds to and resolves difficult and sensitive situations, employee inquiries and complaints, keeping Security management well informed.
  • Partners with Human Resources / Employee Relations teams to assist with internal investigations and team member support.
  • Established knowledge of investigative techniques, procedures, rules of evidence and legal rights of citizens.
  • Communicates company security requirements to team members and contractors.
  • Identifies and reports potential security issues to Security Management.
  • Acts as a liaison between security team and stakeholders.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree(or above)
  • Good interpersonal skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Business professional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven experience in security field or similar position.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
