Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse and shipping Asst. Managerto join our SCL team. In this position you will be working with Manager and responsible for the day-to-day management of company operations. This person will exercise management principles to ensure profitability, control assets and communicate company core values and objectives to the staffs. And ensure all the implementations and procedures are adhering to company policy and ISO13485, GMP/GDP practices. You’re responsible for supervision, compliance, and direction of personnel for the receiving, dispensing, packaging, order processing, warehousing and shipping functions in Taoyuan city. We’ve multiple hubs in Nankan and GuiShan areas, and this role will require travelling in between hubs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and act on the company’s growth plan in order to achieve or exceed the goals and provide further advice to pave for future demands as a strategic role.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Maintain and update all manuals (WIs) necessary for company operations and establish processes to evaluate if compliance with applicable policies and procedures proactively.
• Familiar with SAP system and able to understand the data, further leverage the analysis to highlight the improvement areas and new directions to approach.
• Facilitate cross function Depts to support their requests and streamline the process more efficiently.
• Manage inventory to ensure levels are met and company assets are monitored and controlled
• Maintain warehouse facility with proper layout and implement controls to ensure quality of materials
• Communicate company policies and announcements on a timely basis to employees
• Interviews and hires staff as needed as approved by senior management with emphasis on recruiting best-qualified candidates
• Takes appropriate action to ensure that the location complies with applicable laws and regulations

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse and; or Supply Chain Manager in medical device or pharma industry
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices with proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Preferable candidates are familiar with highly regulated environment, such as ISO, GMP, or GDP.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Leadership skills and ability to manage employees towards a positive, friendly & learning environment.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills and proficient in English
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, science or business administration
