As a Sales, you will be responsible for sales of products/systems within a designated market in accordance with strategy for Motion Business Area in Kaohsiung, Taipei City, Taiwan. Reporting to the Local BU Manager (Manager)-Sales, you will build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Your responsibilities
  • Selling products/systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
  • Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Your background
  • Must have a mature selling behavior and actively driving discussions and negotiations to the benefit of the business with customers
  • Sound knowledge of Drive and Motor
  • Must be an individual contributor with potential as a team leader
  • Beginning with current segments (ex. heavy industry) projects
  • Promoting solution package for new application and new segments
  • System integration skill is a plus
