The Role
Entegris is looking for a talented Product Development Engineer in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The Product Development Engineer will develop and improve the manufacturing process of liquid filtration product that meets specific requirements, you will work closely with NPI and PE ensuring the successful implementation, work with R&D group to introduce the new technology to the manufacture and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase process efficiency and quality, to capture broader opportunities in semiconductor industries.

In this role you will

• Scale up R&D equipment and processes to High Volume Manufacturing equipment
• Improve quality and cycle time on new processes
• Manage the product development schedule and work for sample preparation
• Support critical continuous improvement processes for NPD or manufacturing
• Creating DOE (Design of Experiment) plans and schedule
• Communicate test plans and result with the cross-functional team
  
  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• Excellent problem solving and design capabilities
• Advances chemicals knowledges and experiences (Master’s or PhD degree preferred)
• Experience in R&D or Process Engineer (3-5 years working experience)
• Thorough understanding of statistics and statistical software
• Experience with manufacturing process development, design analysis, process optimization and value analysis
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of filtration and semiconductor processes
• Experience working in cleanrooms a plus
• Willing to rotate in other countries for a period a plus
