• Establish stable cell lines expressing human membrane proteins and make membrane preparations to support functional assays
• Protein production from molecular cloning, protein expression, to purification, with primary focus on membrane proteins
• Carry out biochemical, biophysical, and functional validation of overexpressing cell lines or purified proteins
• Attend internal R&D meeting, support literatures survey, participate innovation projects discussion and execution
• Accomplish other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

• Master degree in biomedical and life science related fields, industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in gene cloning, protein production and expression (E. coli, SF9, HEK293 and CHO host cells)
• Fluency in a breadth of protein purification and analytical techniques including but not limited to FPLC, SEC, solubilization test
• Experience in cell culture, stable cell line construction and validation
• Experience primary culture (iPSC experience will be a plus)
• Experience in GPCR and ion channel, or background in structure biology is highly preferred
• Good communication skills (both English and Mandarin), being able to participate literature survey and scientific discussion
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting, can-do attitude and teamwork spirit
