Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.Job PurposeResponsible and accountable for all quality functions within the manufacturing plant, including IQC, FQC, laboratory, QA and Quality Engineering headcount.Effectively develop, implement and maintain procedures, systems, programs and studies as part of the role to ensure continuous improvements at the manufacturing facility, the quality of both purchased and sold goods and services, and the costs associated with validation of quality for purchased goods and services.Job Responsibilities

• This role will report into the Global Quality director.
• Oversee the Quality Management of the manufacturing site including the management of local quality employees on performance evaluations, role responsibilities and training
• Will serve as the principal Quality Management Representative of the site to drive and maintain the ISO Quality Management System certification requirements
• Manage, report and drive the Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the factory of ESI through effective management operating systems (ISO)
• Review business processes and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for their relevance and effectiveness
• Prepare and undertake internal audits to ensure effectiveness of ISO QMS
• Work effectively within the organization by developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal (supply chain, procurement, R&D, Engineering and commercial teams) and external stakeholders to ensure quality issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner using 8D process where appropriate
• Drive process capability improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Responsible for driving Quality standardization, requirement alignment, and robust execution with toll manufacturers and partners in the region.
• Facilitate and ensure smooth and successful execution of the customer and certification body audits. Follow through on post audit actions.
• Drive timely resolutions to customer complaints and supplier issues for the regional factory’s product lines in conjunction with the broader Quality function/teams
• Drive robust change management process efficiently and effectively in a timely manner to prevent potential production or customer issues
• Assist in implementing and accomplishing strategic Quality initiatives successfully in the site
• Prepare a regular quality report to senior management including KPI actions and improvement projects
• Any other tasks assigned and deemed as appropriate by senior management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Typically, 7-10 years of experience in Quality leadership or quality management roles in a manufacturing role and/or specialty products
• Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other scientific or technical discipline
• English spoken and written as a first or second language preferred
