Quality Engineer (IQE Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Perform camera tests in both image labs and the real world.
• Camera database capture.
• To be a portrait model for camera tests or database capture.
• Organize test results and image database.
• Image database management.
• Write simple scripts to automate the test process.
• Occasionally required to work at night or weekend for camera tests.
• May need to travel to Hsinchu, Taoyuan or Taipei city for tests.
• Write documents in English such as test procedures.

Min. Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or science
• Knowledge in basic camera operation (camera settings)
• Exp. in script languages (Python, Bash) is a MUST
• Good communication skills
• Good writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Photography exp. and understanding of image quality
• Familiarity w/ Linux environment
• Familiarity w/ imaging systems (optics, sensor, ISP, etc.)

Others

• Location: currently in Banqiao office, location may adjust to Xindian per Google’s request
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required w/ foreigner
