JR5989 QMS Engineer

Your Responsibilities Will Also Include Post Audit Duties That Include

As a quality management system Engineer at Fab16 you will be responsible that Fab16 Quality Management System (QMS) meets ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards, Micron global standards and customer requirements, and is responsible for maintaining ISO & IATF certification, achieving customer satisfaction and supporting business realization through certification in ISO / IATF Audit and Customer Audit. Monitor the health of Fab16 QMS to increase effectiveness and efficiency and maintain QMS consistency at the site level. Support the continuous improvement of QMS and BP operations in cooperation with Micron Network and site stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams all the audit activities, from planning to the effective closure of non-conformity and sharing of the results and the lesson learnt.

  • ensure proper root cause analysis to address systemic issues and determine actions necessary accordingly
  • communicate and coordinate with Micron departments to ensure action items have been completed to expectations
  • select and share key lessons learnt and follow up on the implementation of action plan to avoid the reoccurrence of the issue and to improve the overall Micron QMS
  • analysis of data from audits and provision of reports as needed as well as conduct reviews with site and organization leadership in the region.

Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Plan Audit related preparation, objectives and schedule
  • Represent the audit team with management of the audited area, with customers and certification body
  • Gather information from production, service, development and supporting activities and perform assessment to identify risk areas to be focused during the audits.
  • Analyze department quality systems and previous audit information from multiple sources
  • Conduct area quality audits
  • Analyze findings from internal and summarize them for presentation or report with the final objective to enable organization to improve processes, as needed in the region and worldwide
  • Coordinate audit schedule and preparation
  • Be the auditee for Management Review
  • Support Improvement of the Quality Management System through assessment and sharing best practices and participating in quality improvement projects.
  • Support for quality culture activity.

Required Competencies

  • Familiar with Core Tools FMEA, SPC, MSA.
  • VDA 6.3 version 2016 (preferred)
  • ISO9001 and IATF certification rules (preferred)
  • Prior experience in internal, customer and certification audits
  • Understanding of applicable customer specific requirements
  • Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills in English
