As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Pixel Software Technical Program Manager in Test, you will lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges and multiple programs reaching beyond Android, Pixel Software, Hardware, and operation team to ensure the quality release of Pixel software releases and products launches, work with Pixel TestEng testing teams in Taiwan/Mountain View sites for different product portfolio likes smart phone, tablets, wearable, and more.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

• Manage full product life cycle testing for Pixel device software (e.g., phone, watch, tablet) on Security and Privacy Features (e.g., Biometrics unlock, software update).
• Work across various disciplines (e.g., Engineer, Test team, fellow technical program managers, etc.) to drive testing programs. Provide test strategy, plan, signal, summary, and control of test activities, including automation and manual testing.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and leadership through exemplary communication skills.
• Work with Pixel Test Engineering and other Pixel teams to oversee testing of features on overall Pixel Software.
• Define and drive test case enhancement and streamline the process to scale the test, standardization, quality and its effectiveness and Exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects, and products attainable in time.
