Purpose of Position
The Corning Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence is building world class recruitment capability globally. The selected candidate will play an important role to support process improvements as field education & provide related trainings to the internal stakeholders so that talent acquisition becomes a core capability for HR function in the region.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead various Talent Acquisition projects in Taiwan to ensure recruiting operational excellence can be met and promoted, which complies with legal and regulatory policies and supports Corning values
- Lead recruiting team to identify the hiring demands for campus recruitment in Taiwan, design and implement Corning Campus recruitment activities accordingly
- Lead recruiting team to implement and follow up Talent Acquisition programs, processes and policies and external market practice to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Continuously enhance collaborations with BUHR partners, business leaders, and other HR Center of Excellence to expedite integration of business-relevant programs, processes, policies and systems
- Lead recruiting team to interact with vendors per service level agreement (SLA), and maximize delivery of outsourced services
- Educates customers about when and how to properly use Talent Acquisition programs, processes and policies
- Manage P&L for TA function in Taiwan
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 12-15 years’ working experiences are required, with 5-8 years at a Talent Acquisition managerial position from industrial companies, corporate or the renowned recruitment agencies.
- Good experiences of project hiring under dynamic business situations, RPO team management would be a high plus
- Solid experiences at end to end recruiting process, strong know-how on talent market research skills, methodologies and related recruiting ATS/CRMs
- Project management experience at employer branding, campus hiring, etc. will be highly required
Required Skills
- Good ability to influence and lead clients, leaders and team members with professionalism and consultancy
- Strong project management skills, doing well in strategic and thorough planning, risk identifying and mitigation to leverage resources and achieve assigned Talent Acquisition goals
- Strong leadership and team engagement skills
- Fluent English both in oral and written; efficient computer skills at office environment
Travel
10-15%, depending on the project needs
