General Summary:

A bachelor/Mater degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field is often required.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of data center operations, including networking, server hardware, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.

• Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux and Windows.

• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

• Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.

• Knowledge of security best practices for data centers.

Nice to have:

Data center-specific certifications like Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Center Technician (CDCT) can also be beneficial.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

• Team player attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
