• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Python, Java, C++, or C code.
• Experience in software projects like draft engineering design document, evaluate the availability and risks, schedule the implementation, and verification.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Android and Android development process.
• Experience in cellular wireless technologies and/or IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)/VoLTE/VoWiFi/VoNR.
• Experience in automating repetitive work by script.
• Ability to face challenges and seek solutions with minimal mentoring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, motivated and autonomous at work, capable of managing changes, and multi-tasks during the development phase.
• Expertise on Machine Learning (ML)/Large Language Models (LLM).

This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

• Design, innovate, implement, and test features for telephony/IMS software.
• Create system and developer tools for optimizing performance and increasing engineering productivity.
• Build automated regression test systems to validate features and measure system performance.
• Bridge the technical gaps between teams and promote technical collaborations.
• Collaborate closely with other software teams in Google and external parties (mobile chipset vendors, mobile operators, and OEMs) to design, develop, and launch features and products on time and with highest quality.
