Our commerce mission is to save the world’s consumers time and money on everyday purchases and purchases related to their passions. Verizon Media is seeking a Sr. Product Manager or Principal Product Manager, Commerce SEO to build data-driven SEO solutions which optimize the way search engines crawl, index and rank Verizon Media Commerce pages. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to analyze, review, and implement changes to our Commerce websites to ensure contents are optimized for the latest search engine algorithm. You will be an integral member of a working group that collaborates on Verizon Media-wide commerce SEO strategy across editorial, product, data science, and design to build scalable and highly available SEO solutions. SEO is an ever-changing landscape, so you need to be passionate about driving continuous changes and stay on top of industry trends and developments. With Verizon Media’s global reach, you must be comfortable working across time-zones to partner with global teams.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing Verizon Media commerce sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
  • Conducting competitor analysis and SEO techniques across commerce horizon
  • Collaborating with content SEO experts to identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
  • Developing detailed SEO strategy, plans, guidelines, and reports for cross-functional teams to execute and track.
  • Own roadmap of SEO strategies across entire organization
  • Use data-driven analysis to make recommendations to drive SEO traffic to new commerce experiences
  • Support product/ engineering/ editorial and operation teams to execute and deliver organic traffic acquisition plan
Desired Qualifications
  • Extensive experience optimizing eCommerce/ content websites to drive traffic and revenue
  • Technical experience with XML, sitemaps, robots.txt, URL redirects, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of search engine optimization practices
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to remote locations for the right candidate
