We are looking for an experienced Systems Hardware Design Engineer to develop breakthrough solutions for Meeting Experience Business unit of Enterprise division. In this position, you will manage all the system hardware technical aspects of ClickShare product development with ODM partners, and collaborate with a team to develop hardware platform, responsible for a product from initial concept through retail launch. Your responsibilities include but not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing advice and oversight and supervision to the system level product design including security and validation process with ODM engineering team.

• Ensuring product requirements are developed and delivered that meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Owning the technical project objectives: feature implementation, target costs, key milestones, quality of the products, and SOW(Statement of Work)s schedules, cost and others.

• Facilitating and assisting ODM engineering team with resolution of mechanical and electrical issues, and working with internal software team on any and all issues that occur during development.

• Implementing VE(Value Engineering) and EMC(EMI+MES) solutions in electronic circuit design of product development.

• Understanding product certification progress including EMC, RF, Safety, ErP(Energy-Related Products) and Green compliance.

Collaborating with ODM partner to support internal depot repair & customer service team for serviceability.

Supporting material shortage issues, alternative validation process and automatic test of production line in factory with Engineering Logistic Support, supply chain and industrialization for productivity.

We are looking for a Barco employee who…

• A successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering management for Hardware Platform and demonstrate the working knowledge of Systems and board design architecture, electronics industry validation, qualification, and testing methods.

• Able to utilize and work with ODM technical resources to debug and close systems level issues.

• Experience in multiple Multi-media platforms(x86 & ARM based) design related AMD/Intel/NXP/Qualcomm/TI/Realtek/Rockchip semiconductors.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English language, strong communication skills and an ability to work in a highly matrixed cross-functional organization should be demonstrated in past work experiences.

• Experience in high speed bus development as USB2.0/3.2/USB-C, Ethernet FE(Fast Ethernet)/GE(Giga Ethernet)/2.5GE/10GE, VGA, DVI, HDMI 1.4b/2.1 and DisplayPort v1.2/1.4 interface.

• Experience in Graphic card(NVIDIA QUADRO), Video Capture card and Video grabber card architecture and design review.

• Formulating hardware specification and design directive with project manager and clarify input data from suppliers.

• Fluent in Cadence OrCAD capture tool.

• Fluent in Cadence Allegro Physical Viewer tool.

• Fluent in Mentor Graphics PCB Schematic Design and PCB Layout tool.

• Familiar with digital oscilloscope operation.

• Soldering capability for small package components as 0402 capacitor or 0201 resistor and jump-wire of coaxial cable soldering on HDI(High Density Interconnect) board design.
